This page explains what happens to information you provide on this website. It describes what this site actually does today, not a general template.
Information From the Free Trial Form
The free trial form asks for your name, the student's age, your WhatsApp number, the course you're interested in (or "not sure"), the parts of the day that suit you, a teacher preference, and optionally a preferred class time and days, your city, an email address and a message. Your browser's time zone is also sent, so we can confirm class times correctly.
When you submit the form, these answers are sent to the academy's email inbox through our email delivery service, Resend, so that we can contact you on WhatsApp to confirm your free trial. If you give an email address, we also send you one confirmation email with the details of your request, through Resend; we do not add you to any mailing list. If sending fails, the form offers the same answers as a WhatsApp message, which you choose whether to send.
Once you send that message, it exists in WhatsApp as a normal conversation between you and the academy, governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. This website has no part in that conversation beyond preparing the initial message text.
How the Academy Uses Your Details
The academy uses the details in your message, and anything you tell us later on WhatsApp or by email, to arrange the free trial and your classes, to match a suitable teacher, and to contact you about them. All communication about classes goes through the academy; teachers do not message students or parents privately.
What the Academy Keeps
We only collect and keep the information needed to provide and manage the academy's services. Student information is stored in our academy management app, and only authorised academy staff who need it for their role can access it. When a student leaves the academy, we delete their information from the app. The exception is information we need to keep for legitimate business, accounting, tax, legal or other lawful purposes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties. To run its classes and stay in touch with families, the academy uses outside services, for example Zoom for lessons and WhatsApp for messages, and those services handle the information they carry under their own terms.
Lesson Recordings
The academy records lessons for teaching quality, to follow the student's progress, for safeguarding and to manage the academy. Recordings are not public. Only authorised academy management, and the teaching and academic staff who need a recording for those purposes, can access it.
Recordings are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. When a student leaves the academy, their recordings are deleted along with their other information, unless a particular recording needs to be kept for a legitimate or legal reason.
Parents can ask to see their child's recording, and can ask for a recording to be deleted, unless the academy has a legitimate or legal reason to keep it. To ask, use the contact details in the next section. Our safety page explains how lessons are run.
Asking About Your Information
You can ask the academy what information it holds about you or your child, including your child's lesson recordings, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Send your request by email to info@easequranacademy.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line, or message the academy on WhatsApp.
Standard Hosting Logs
Like any website, the server that hosts this site may keep standard technical logs of the requests it receives (such as IP address and browser type) as part of normal web hosting. This is routine infrastructure behaviour, not a feature of this site's own design.
