An online Quran academy. We teach live one-to-one classes on Zoom to children and adults in Australia, Ireland, Singapore, Germany, France and the Netherlands, and we have been teaching for more than 7 years.

About the Academy

Yes. There is no centre or classroom to travel to. Every class is on Zoom, at times that suit you in your own time zone.

You don't need to know before the trial. Tell us what the student can already read, and the teacher checks the level in the trial and recommends a course. If you are starting from nothing, the page for beginners explains the first steps.

Starting as a Beginner

All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each teacher's profile. Lessons are taught in English.

Meet the Teachers

Yes. You can ask for a female teacher, and we can arrange one at most times. Mention it when you request the trial.

Classes for Sisters

All communication goes through the academy. Teachers do not message students or parents privately. Before joining, every teacher has their original certificates checked, passes a recitation test and a demo class, and goes through ID and reference checks. Classes are on Zoom, at times you arrange with the academy, and you can join any lesson without telling us in advance.

How We Keep Lessons Safe

Usually, yes. The teacher from the trial normally carries on, unless you ask for a change. Changing teacher is free. Tell us the reason, and we aim to have the new teacher ready for the next class. If a teacher is unavailable, another teacher takes the class or a makeup class is scheduled. If a teacher leaves, a suitable new teacher is arranged.

You tell us the days and times that suit you, 7 days a week, and we match a teacher who is free then. When your clocks change for daylight saving, the class stays at the same local time for you, and the teacher adjusts.

A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone, the free Zoom app installed beforehand, a stable internet connection and a reasonably quiet spot to sit for the class.

Yes, whenever you ask. We don't send reports on a fixed schedule. Certificates are given only when a student finishes Noorani Qaida or completes Hifz.

It lasts 30 minutes. The teacher checks the student's current level, teaches a short lesson at that level, recommends a course and a number of classes a week, and answers your questions. It is one free trial per student, and no card is needed.

No. After the trial we send the teacher's recommendation and the plan options on WhatsApp. If you go ahead, you choose a schedule and classes start within a few days. There is no pressure to continue.

The smallest package, 8 classes of 30 minutes, is AUD 65 in Australia, SGD 55 in Singapore, or EUR 35 in Ireland, Germany, France and the Netherlands. Larger packages and 60-minute classes are on the Pricing page. You pay per package, not per month, and there is no registration fee.

Full Prices

Yes. Tell us at least 7 days before your next bill. Unused classes in a paid package are refunded. Payment is by bank transfer, Remitly, or credit or debit card.
