Class Times

Find a Class Time That Works for Your Family

Singapore keeps the same clock all year, so a Quran class time agreed once stays put through every school term. Adults can learn in a lunch break or after work, and children after school or around weekend madrasah. Tell us the days and times that suit you, and plan any changes around the MOE holidays below.

Time zone
Class times are confirmed in Singapore Time.
Moving a class
Give at least 4 hours' notice and the class is made up, not lost.

Choose your preferred class time in your local time. We arrange a suitable teacher for the time you choose.

Preferred days (optional)

Your preferred class time

5pm

Singapore Time. Your clocks do not change, so the class stays at 5pm all year.

Sunset, for planning around Maghrib: in Singapore, around 7.05pm in late December and 7.10pm in late June. Ramadan is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, depending on the moon sighting; sunset is then around 7.20pm, and around 7.20pm by the last days. These are estimates for choosing class times, not prayer times.

A request, not a booking. Send the short trial form, and we reply on WhatsApp within a few hours to agree the day of your free 30-minute trial and confirm the time.

How It Works

How Online Quran Lessons Work

Every lesson is live, with one teacher and one student, so the pace is set by the learner, not by a class.

Live and one-to-one on Zoom
Just the student and the teacher, with nothing to travel to. Parents are welcome to sit in, and can join any lesson.
Seven days a week, at your times
Classes of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, on the days and at the times you choose, always in your local time.
The same teacher each week
Usually the same teacher continues after the trial, unless the family asks for a change.
Taught in English
All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each teacher's profile.

Teachers, Checked Before They Join

Before joining, every teacher has their original certificates checked, passes a recitation test and a demo class, and goes through ID and reference checks. Every teacher holds a recognised Quran qualification. Not all are certified by the same board, so each teacher's own qualifications are listed on their profile. You can ask for a female teacher, and we can arrange one at most times.

The illustration is shared by the five women teaching with us, never one teacher's face.

All communication goes through the academy. Teachers do not message students or parents privately. How we keep lessons safe · All our teachers and their qualifications

FAQ

Questions Families Ask Us

Do you offer Quran classes for families in Singapore?

Yes. Ease Quran teaches families in Singapore online, one-to-one on Zoom, with class times confirmed in Singapore time. Your child's first class is a free 30-minute trial with a teacher who checks their reading level.

I'm an adult who never learned to read the Quran properly. Can I start from the beginning?

Yes. Quran for Adults starts at your real level: the Noorani Qaida if you are starting from the letters, or connected reading with Tajweed if you already read a little. Every class is one-to-one, so you practise aloud with your teacher and no one else, at a time that fits your working day.

My child already goes to weekend madrasah. Can Quran classes be on weekdays?

Yes. Classes run seven days a week and you choose which ones. Tell the teacher in the free trial what your child is learning at madrasah, so the lesson starts from where their reading actually is.

Is a one-to-one class like mengaji?

In the sense most people mean, yes: your child reads aloud and the teacher listens and corrects each mistake as it happens. Complete beginners start with Noorani Qaida, which teaches the Arabic letters and how they join before moving on to reading the Quran itself.

Can classes carry on through the June holidays at a different time?

Yes. The 2027 June holidays run from 29 May to 27 June; give us the holiday times you want and we look for a teacher free at those times. Any single class can also be moved with at least 4 hours' notice.
