Class Times
Find a Class Time That Works for Your Family
Germany has no single school calendar: each Land sets its own breaks, and the rules for Muslim pupils at Eid differ from state to state too. So there is no academy timetable to fit into. Tell us your days and times in German time, and move classes around your own state's holidays as they come.
- Time zone
- Class times are confirmed in Central European Time.
- Moving a class
- Give at least 4 hours' notice and the class is made up, not lost.
Choose your preferred class time in your local time. We arrange a suitable teacher for the time you choose.
In Central European Time.
Your preferred class time
5pm
Central European Time. When your clocks change (Sunday 28 March 2027 and Sunday 31 October 2027), the class stays at 5pm your time.
A request, not a booking. Send the short trial form, and we reply on WhatsApp within a few hours to agree the day of your free 30-minute trial and confirm the time.
How It Works
How Online Quran Lessons Work
Every lesson is live, with one teacher and one student, so the pace is set by the learner, not by a class.
- Live and one-to-one on Zoom
- Just the student and the teacher, with nothing to travel to. Parents are welcome to sit in, and can join any lesson.
- Seven days a week, at your times
- Classes of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, on the days and at the times you choose, always in your local time.
- The same teacher each week
- Usually the same teacher continues after the trial, unless the family asks for a change.
- Taught in English
- All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each teacher's profile.
Teachers, Checked Before They Join
Before joining, every teacher has their original certificates checked, passes a recitation test and a demo class, and goes through ID and reference checks. Every teacher holds a recognised Quran qualification. Not all are certified by the same board, so each teacher's own qualifications are listed on their profile. You can ask for a female teacher, and we can arrange one at most times.
The illustration is shared by the five women teaching with us, never one teacher's face.
All communication goes through the academy. Teachers do not message students or parents privately. How we keep lessons safe · All our teachers and their qualifications

Each State Sets Its Own Holidays
Holiday dates are set by each Land, with the KMK agreeing only the summer window: in 2027 summer starts on 28 June in Hessen, 1 July in Berlin and Hamburg, and 2 August in Bavaria.

Clocks Change on the Last Sundays of October and March
German clocks go back an hour on the last Sunday of October and forward on the last Sunday of March (25 October 2026 and 28 March 2027). A class agreed in German time stays at the same German time through both.

Some States Have Breaks Others Do Not
Bavaria takes two weeks at Whitsun in 2027 (18 to 28 May) and Hessen has no Whitsun break at all, while Berlin has a winter week in February that Hessen also does without.

FAQ
Questions Families Ask Us
Do you offer Quran classes for families in Germany?
Yes, anywhere in Germany. Ease Quran teaches families online, one-to-one on Zoom, with class times confirmed in German time. The first class is a free 30-minute trial.
My child goes to school in German. Which languages do the teachers speak?
The reading itself is Arabic: letters, sounds and recitation. All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each profile; none lists German. If your child's English is still basic, say so when you book and the teacher can plan for it.
Our school holidays are different from our cousins' in another Land. Does that matter?
No. There is no academy timetable to follow, because each family names its own days. If relatives in another state also learn with us, their schedule is set separately around their own holidays.
Can my child have class on Eid if they are off school that day?
Yes, or you can skip it. School rules for Eid differ by state, and Bavaria and Hamburg each publish their own. Whatever your school does, you decide: keep the class, or move it with 4 hours' notice and have it made up later.
