Class Times
Find a Class Time That Works for Your Family
Berlin's school year has a February winter week and a summer break from 1 July, and its autumn holidays run across the October clock change. You give us times in Berlin time, and we plan around those breaks with you: a morning slot for the holidays, then back to after school.
- Time zone
- Class times are confirmed in Central European Time.
- Moving a class
- Give at least 4 hours' notice and the class is made up, not lost.
Choose your preferred class time in your local time. We arrange a suitable teacher for the time you choose.
In Central European Time.
Your preferred class time
5pm
Central European Time, Berlin. When your clocks change (Sunday 28 March 2027 and Sunday 31 October 2027), the class stays at 5pm your time.
Sunset, for planning around Maghrib: in Berlin, around 3.55pm in late December and 9.35pm in late June. Ramadan is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, depending on the moon sighting; sunset is then around 5.05pm, and around 5.55pm by the last days. These are estimates for choosing class times, not prayer times.
A request, not a booking. Send the short trial form, and we reply on WhatsApp within a few hours to agree the day of your free 30-minute trial and confirm the time.
How It Works
How Online Quran Lessons Work
Every lesson is live, with one teacher and one student, so the pace is set by the learner, not by a class.
- Live and one-to-one on Zoom
- Just the student and the teacher, with nothing to travel to. Parents are welcome to sit in, and can join any lesson.
- Seven days a week, at your times
- Classes of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, on the days and at the times you choose, always in your local time.
- The same teacher each week
- Usually the same teacher continues after the trial, unless the family asks for a change.
- Taught in English
- All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each teacher's profile.
Teachers, Checked Before They Join
Before joining, every teacher has their original certificates checked, passes a recitation test and a demo class, and goes through ID and reference checks. Every teacher holds a recognised Quran qualification. Not all are certified by the same board, so each teacher's own qualifications are listed on their profile. You can ask for a female teacher, and we can arrange one at most times.
The illustration is shared by the five women teaching with us, never one teacher's face.
All communication goes through the academy. Teachers do not message students or parents privately. How we keep lessons safe · All our teachers and their qualifications

FAQ
Questions Families Ask Us
Do you offer Quran classes for families in Berlin?
Yes. Ease Quran teaches families in Berlin online, one-to-one over Zoom, with class times confirmed in German time. The first class is a free trial of 30 minutes.
The clocks go back in the middle of the autumn holidays. Will our class time move?
No. After the clocks go back on the last Sunday of October (25 October in 2026), your class keeps its Berlin time, so a 5pm class is still at 5pm. If you pause for the holidays, the first class back is at your usual time.
Can we fit in extra classes during the February winter week?
You can ask for extra or different classes from 1 to 6 February 2027, including daytime ones while your child is off school. For more classes a week than your package includes, the options are on the pricing page.
Eid falls on a school day. Can we move that day's class?
Yes. Check with your child's school about the day itself, then give us 4 hours' notice and the class is moved or made up later. In 2027 Eid al-Fitr is expected around 9 March and Eid al-Adha around 16 May.
Summer starts on 1 July. Can we switch to morning classes for the holidays?
Yes. Give us the holiday times you want, such as 10am on weekdays, and we look for a teacher free then. The after-school slot can come back in mid-August when term restarts.
