Class Times
Find a Class Time That Works for Your Family
Dutch school holidays follow three regions, noord, midden and zuid, and the autumn and spring weeks are only recommendations, so two schools in the same town can break in different weeks. That is why we plan around your own school's calendar: give us the days and times you want in Dutch time, and tell us which weeks change.
- Time zone
- Class times are confirmed in Central European Time.
- Moving a class
- Give at least 4 hours' notice and the class is made up, not lost.
Choose your preferred class time in your local time. We arrange a suitable teacher for the time you choose.
In Central European Time.
Your preferred class time
5pm
Central European Time. When your clocks change (Sunday 28 March 2027 and Sunday 31 October 2027), the class stays at 5pm your time.
A request, not a booking. Send the short trial form, and we reply on WhatsApp within a few hours to agree the day of your free 30-minute trial and confirm the time.
How It Works
How Online Quran Lessons Work
Every lesson is live, with one teacher and one student, so the pace is set by the learner, not by a class.
- Live and one-to-one on Zoom
- Just the student and the teacher, with nothing to travel to. Parents are welcome to sit in, and can join any lesson.
- Seven days a week, at your times
- Classes of 30, 45 or 60 minutes, on the days and at the times you choose, always in your local time.
- The same teacher each week
- Usually the same teacher continues after the trial, unless the family asks for a change.
- Taught in English
- All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each teacher's profile.
Teachers, Checked Before They Join
Before joining, every teacher has their original certificates checked, passes a recitation test and a demo class, and goes through ID and reference checks. Every teacher holds a recognised Quran qualification. Not all are certified by the same board, so each teacher's own qualifications are listed on their profile. You can ask for a female teacher, and we can arrange one at most times.
The illustration is shared by the five women teaching with us, never one teacher's face.
All communication goes through the academy. Teachers do not message students or parents privately. How we keep lessons safe · All our teachers and their qualifications

FAQ
Questions Families Ask Us
Do you offer Quran classes for families in the Netherlands?
Yes. Ease Quran teaches families in the Netherlands online, one-to-one on Zoom, with class times confirmed in Dutch time. You can start with a free 30-minute trial class.
Which holiday region are we in, and does it matter for classes?
The government lists every municipality by region: Amsterdam is noord, while Rotterdam and The Hague are midden. For classes it only matters because you tell us which weeks you are away; the schedule itself is yours.
Can my child take a class on the day of Suikerfeest?
If you want to. Parents tell the school in advance about an absence for a religious holiday, and your Quran class can stay, be moved with 4 hours' notice, or be made up on another day.
What happens to our class time when the clocks go back in October?
It stays where it is in Dutch time. A 5pm class is still at 5pm after the clocks go back on the last Sunday of October (25 October in 2026), so there is nothing to rearrange.
My child thinks in Dutch. Which languages do the teachers speak?
All our teachers speak English and Urdu, and several also speak Arabic or Pashto, as listed on each profile; none lists Dutch. The lesson is mostly reading Arabic aloud and being corrected, so if your child's English is limited, say so in the trial request and the teacher can plan for it.
